The Turkish Championship organized by Turkish Sailing Federation at Alacati Beach Club with the new Olympic board RSX. The wind conditions were very light like 3-11 knots. All the races were very exciting. Results...

Ertugrul won Turkish
Slalom Champion title and its his second title on the slalom class.
"I won all the races. The conditions
were perfect to my taste. I am very happy with
this result. Now also I am looking forward to
have good results at the European Slalom Championship
which will be held 22-26.June at Alacati Beach".

2005 season
Until he gets the RSX Olympic board which is end of August, he trained with Formula and he did fun boarding. He believes this training will help to be fit on RSX. He raced at US Nations Formula Class and finished 7th (for results). He also compete European Slalom Championship and finished 11th (for results). Both were a good training and good experience. |

He went to Maui
from 15th to 28th of Feb with his coach Mike Gebhartd
to test and train on the new Olympic board RSX
. His opinion is " to race with RSX will be much more fun ".

Their support in 2004
took him from 49th to 10th place on the world
rankings. |

Ertuğrul moved up to 10th place
in the World Rankings following
his 11th at the 2004 Olympic Games and 16th at
the 2004 Worlds Championship.

Çeşme-Turkey
He have succesfully completed the 2004 World
Championship as the 16th best windsurfer of the
world. This result also stands out for its succes
on the nations rankings. Ertugrul`s finish sets
Turkey as the best 9th nation at the world. He
left very strong countries like Spain, Brazil,
Israel, China, Argentina, Canada, Australia, Italy
and many more behind. This is also a very good
indication for the Olympics where each country
will be represented only by one athlete. |
